Most of the demo programs supplied with this release are quite
simplistic. They neither require nor accept any user input other than window
placement and geometry. A mouse click (with no keyboard keys) will terminate
most of them.

	balls bouncing balls (squares actually)
	bounce a decaying bouncing square
circle a headache if you look too long
colormap	regtangles of all CURRENT (i.e. highly subject to change)
					colors in the color map
ripple a kilideascope sort of effect, should be non-square geometry
					for the best results.
slide a slower more itterative kildeascope
rlines fills the window with random lilnes
lines more lines though less random, this takes a number
of possible command line or .Xdefaults parameters
			    do "lines -help" for info.
mrpeepers	displays a pair of eyes that look in the direction of
				the cursor.
demo1,2,3,4	very simple programs that demonstrate the use of Xtlib
(the X toolkit) for creating scroll bars, buttons, etc.

Two useful utilities for experimenting with color are also
provided in the demo directory.
makergb inputs a set of r g b values and or colornames with
a step count and increments from each set of
values to the next outputing the result. The
output may be suitable for input to dispcolors,
or for inclusion in a c program depending on
the -cc switch. makergb -help for details.
dispcolors	accepts X standard color specs (#RGB or name) and
produces a color chart showing the results. A
mouse click anywhere in the display window will
terminate it. dispcolors -help for details.
spectrum.mrgb	an example data file for use with the above as:
				makergb <spectrum.mrgb | dispcolors

To see the colors included in /usr/lib/rgb.txt file do:

	sed "s/^[0123456789 ]*//" </usr/lib/rgb.txt | dispcolors

All of the above mentioned executables are located in
/usr/new/demo with the source in /usr/new/demo/src.
