This is the compiler driver (the equivalent to the 'cc' command).
You may choose where you would like the various compilation files
(compilers, libraries, assembler, ...) by editing the makefile.
makefile.nat is the makefile I use on the native 88000, makefile.sun
is the makefile I use on the Sun. The compile.c source is the same
in both cases. If you wish to make an ANSI C driver, make the driver
with the -DANSI option.

The file a88.t is a shell file that calls the sifilter. In native mode
(and prehaps in cross mode) this should be called.

This compiler driver accepts the following flags which may be new to you:

-ansi	request ansi C (If the driver was not build with -DANSI)
-noansi	no ansi C (If the driver was build with -DANSI)
-k+r	want k+r C (same as -noansi)
-#	show what the driver is going to do, but don't exec anything
